In entering into a transaction with us, you may have to incur certain prescribed commissions, fees and other expenses (collectively, the "Fees"). The amount of each Fee and the method of calculation thereof will be decided upon the individual agreement to be executed between you and us for every individual transaction based on, among other things, type and details of the financial instrument subject to the transaction, and terms and conditions of the contract thereof. For such reason, it is not possible to state the amount of any Fee or the method of calculation thereof in advance.
The financial instrument products which we offer (e.g. real property trust beneficiary rights, tokumei kumiai investment units) have the risk of loss on the principal due to: (i) changes in the sale/leasing market conditions for the ultimate investment properties, fluctuation of their occupancy rates, fluctuation of interest rates, as well as any act of God or similar risk factor; (ii) the creditworthiness of the tokumei kumiai operator, trustee or any similar related party of the transaction; (iii) liquidity risk due to lack of established market; (iv) changes in taxation system, amendment or abolition of applicable law or regulations; or (v) any similar external factor. Further, the financial instrument products which we offer have no guarantee on the principal or return of interest.
Accordingly, you will acknowledge that you will bear the risk of loss on the principal of invested financial instrument (and, depending upon the nature of the invested financial instrument, the risk of loss which exceeds the amount of invested principal). Upon entering into each transaction, you must carefully read the documents delivered to you prior to signing any contract and other similar documents, must be fully aware of the risks pertaining to the financial instrument in which you are investing, and must execute the contract at your own judgment and responsibility.
We advise customers on the appropriate financial instruments for their needs based on factors such as knowledge, investment experience, assets, and purpose of selling or buying trust beneficiary rights to have customers make right decisions.
We explain our financial instrument’s scheme, risks, and fees to our customers so that they fully understand and are able to make an appropriate investment decision. We ensure that the time, place, and way in which we meet with our customers suits their convenience.
We educate our staff about financial instruments and strengthen our internal management and compliance to communicate appropriately with our customers. Our staff makes every effort to respond sincerely to inquiries, complaints and demands from our customers.
